Magnolia Village Mindfulness
Practice Center
I have arrived, I am Home
Located at 123 Towles Road, Batesville, MS 38606-8508, Magnolia Village Mindfulness Practice Center is the realization of a vision by a wonderful sangha who have worked very long and hard to make this happen.
This center and property have been completely paid for and donated to Plum Village. This is a wonderful happy place and we are looking forward to seeing it grow with time.
Set in a secluded 120 acre northern Mississippi landscape, Magnolia Village features a peaceful and spacious meditation hall, a large kitchen for retreat meals, a library and bookstore, guest house with full shower and bathroom facilities, lotus pond, walking trails, basketball court.
Thich Nhat Hanh officially accepted Magnolia Village when he visited in October of 2005. He is considering sending a full monastic sangha here in the near future.
